President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday received Jared Kushner, senior adviser to the U.S. president, who is visiting Egypt as part of a Middle East tour to promote the peace process. During the meeting, Sisi affirmed that Egypt supports all efforts aimed at reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue and pushing forward efforts to revive the peace process between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, in accordance with international references, on the basis of the two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. استقبل الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم الخميس، جاريد كوشنر كبير مستشاري الرئيس الأميركي، الذي يزور مصر في إطار جولة شرق أوسطية للترويج لصفقة القرن. وأكد السيسي خلال اللقاء أن مصر تدعم جميع الجهود الرامية للتوصل إلى حل عادل وشامل للقضية الفلسطينية، والدفع قدماً بمساعي إحياء عملية السلام بين الجانبين الفلسطيني والإسرائيلي، وذلك وفقاً للمرجعيات الدولية، وعلى أساس حل الدولتين، وإقامة دولة فلسطينية وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، بما يسهم في إعادة الاستقرار وفتح آفاق جديدة لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشعوب المنطقة
