Matthew RJ Brodsky joins i24News' special Israeli election night coverage with Michelle Makori and panelists joining from Washington, New York, and Tel Aviv. The exit polls indicate the Blue and White party have a one seat lead over incumbent Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu's Likud party - but they are just preliminary exit polls and don't mean much until the votes are actually counted. The final results will likely be tallied on Wednesday, September 18, at which point President Reuven Rivlin will decide which party gets a first crack at forming a coalition. His decision will be based on the party with the most seats and his belief in their ability to put together a ruling coalition that surpasses 60 seats in the Knesset. Then the horsetrading will begin.
